The Houston Shipbuilding and Harboring Association (HSMA) announced the winners of the 2017 Houston Shipbuilder of the Year Award.
Hear the finalists in our exclusive interview with HSMA Chairman Kevin McDaniel.
The winners will be announced at the Association’s convention on July 27 in Orlando, Florida.
The 2017 winners were chosen by a panel of three experts: Houston Shipbuilders Association Vice President and CEO Kevin McBride, Houston Shipyards Association President and President Steve Lipschitz and Houston Shipyard Executive Vice President for Supply Chain Kevin Lipsack.
In a statement, McBride said the 2017 winners are the best-selling Houston shipbuilders of all time.
“We look forward to seeing these companies compete for this award again next year,” McBride added.
The HSMA Board of Directors voted to award the award for its best-sellers for 2017.
They include the largest shipbuilder in the Houston Shipport, which is located in Galveston Bay, the largest marine shipyard in Texas and the largest vesselyard in the nation.
The award will be presented to the winners at the HSMA Convention on July 23, 2017 in Orlando.
