Raiders owner’s wife was a passenger on train that derailed in Aurora

SAN FRANCISCO — A California family who owned a luxury train station in northern California that derailed Thursday afternoon is mourning the death of its owner and passenger.

The Associated Press reports the accident killed the wife of an Amtrak employee who worked on the train.

She was not injured.

The cause of the derailment is under investigation.

Amtrak says no train service was disrupted by the accident.
