They can carry up 30 tonnes of goods per hour.

The cars also have extra cargo space, so they are able to accommodate extra goods or passengers.


The world’s most expensive rail carsThe world’s second-most expensive rail car, the BNSF BNS-100, is currently used on many international trains.

It has an estimated value of $1.4 billion.


The future of rail freight trainsThe rail freight railway has been around for some time, and is still very popular with freight train companies.

The Australian Rail Transport Group has recently announced it will build more than 60 new rail freight freight trains from 2017 to 2027, but it is unlikely these trains will be the only rail freight rail car to appear in Australia.


How much do freight trains cost?

Freight trains are made up of a pair of rails that connect two platforms on either side of a railway car.

They use an iron-framed frame to support the rails and they can be up to 400 metres long.

The rail car then uses a steel or aluminium structure to carry cargo.
