A new report from the International Business Times finds that the harbor cargo industry in the U.S. is growing.
While the industry has been around for a while, the report finds that it is starting to see a boom in activity.
The report, by International Business Journal, shows that in the first quarter of 2018, there were a record number of container ship and cargo ships in the world, with a total of 4,531 ships.
That number is set to grow by more than 40 percent to 4,929 in 2019, which is expected to be even bigger.
“We are seeing tremendous growth in the maritime shipping industry, which includes container ships, container-trucking, and the maritime cargo industry,” said Dr. William Stott, an associate professor at University of Maryland’s School of Nursing.
“There is a huge opportunity for us in terms of the supply chain, which we know has been going on for many years.
We also know that there are a lot of jobs in the transportation industry that have been going for a long time.
So we have an opportunity to really capitalize on that opportunity.”
In addition to the increased demand for shipping, there is also a lot more interest in the industry.
The survey found that the number of containers on the high seas jumped by more then 5.5 percent in the last year.
This was driven by a surge in demand for container ships to move goods and a decrease in demand to carry goods in small, lightweight, and compact containers.
“The trend of increased demand is evident in the increase in the number and size of container ships,” said Stott.
“Container ships are often the first port of call for international travelers, especially in developing countries.
In the future, container ships will be a mainstay of the global freight shipping industry.”
The report found that in 2018, the number shipping container ships reached the highest level since at least the mid-1980s, as global shipping and container demand surged.
While this trend has been well documented for some time, Stott said it is also occurring more recently, particularly in China and Europe.
While many people would like to see more container ships on the water, they are still not able to do so because of regulations that are very restrictive, Stotts said.
“The current regulations that have existed for a very long time, the Coast Guard and the Department of Transportation, are not going to allow this to happen.
So there’s not enough capacity to move this type of container to the market.”
While it is possible that container ships may be the fastest growing sector in the country, there are other areas that are looking to benefit from the increase.
“We’re seeing a shift away from the oil and gas industry, toward the shipping industry.
We’re seeing more and more of our shipping ports have been opened up,” Stott explained.”
With the increase of the container industry, we’re seeing some of the same things that we saw with the oil industry.
It’s been the most efficient way to move large volumes of goods,” said Peter DeFranco, a professor of shipping at the University of Michigan.
“This is something that I think is very good news for the future of shipping.”
